Georgia Pests – What They Are and How to Get Rid of Them

Bagworms – Remove bags.  If worms are actively feeding, treat with insecticide.

Cottony Maple Scale – Insecticide treatments

Orange Striped Oak Worm – Find and remove, treat highly populated areas if needed

Green Striped Mapleworm – Find and remove, treat highly populated areas if needed

Chinch Bugs – Find and remove, treat highly populated areas with insecticide

Fire Ants – Insecticide treatments

Cicada Killer Wasp – No actions usually required

Fall Armyworms – Find and remove, treat highly populated areas if needed
